A "LITTLE PERSON IN A FUR COAT"...

My tribute to YoYo is on going for a good reason! He represents all of our "little people in fur coats" that we have had to let go. They give us such joy , companionship, and are never judging of our actions. You can tell them all of your woes and they listen..... all the time ! As Bichons forever maintain such a puppy state,we forget that they too get old. We give them the utmost care in order to lengthen their stay.... but alas the time comes. We at Dalnavert kennels have experienced this many times.... and it does not get any easier.
Yoyo's owners paid their own tribute to a great companion:
"YoYo was one of those special pets that comes around once in a lifetime and we were so very lucky that we got to spend the time we had with him.
YoYo was such a gentle soul, very loving and loyal and so very intelligent. At times, we would spell out words that we did not want him to know like ice cream but he soon learned how to spell as well. He loved his walks in the park, recently along his sister, Addie. When he got tired, they would stop find a cool spot on the grass and the two of them would "people watch", always drawing a crowd and the request for a photo or a pat. He was brave and courageous, surviving three major surgeries. Our fearless "super-trooper" was a determined little fighter who did so right up until the end."
