Hugs completed his championship at 10 months of age within 5 shows. He was 11 inches in height and carried a lovely plush coat. In August 2009, Hugs returned to Risgae Kennels in Georgia where Rick Day, his breeder/co-owner showed him to his American championship. Hugs was also co-owned with Linda Ross of Luvit Kennels. Hugs was trained and conditioned by Carla/Wayne Morrow and was exclusively handled by Sandy Orford of Classy Clips.
