A number of years ago we sold a puppy to Teppo Numminen, a former Winnipeg Jets hockey player. This Bichon Frise resides in Finland when he is not flying all over the world attending hockey games. He has always been a much loved pet. This was our only International connection...or so I thought!

This week I did a little research into European Bichon Frise kennels, and I came across a number of them . As I read through their websites, to my surprise, I came across 2 kennels that had their foundation stock based on our bloodlines CH. DALNAVERT’S FROSTED COCONUT ICE. One kennel is in Germany and the other in Hungary. I have made contact with the kennel in Hungary today and hope to hear from Germany. I am interested in learning how influential “Frosty’s” pedigree became in Europe. Both of these kennels report successful show dogs from their foundation stock. The fact that a breeding we had done has contributed, somewhat, to their success was exciting to read. More news to follow as we find out more about our new friends!
