I had the opportunity to see Lex being shown at the Petawawa Shows (Champlain Dog Club) last weekend. He is in great shape and coat. All of his caregivers are doing an excellent job! His handlers for this show, Tom Curly and his wife Diane did a great job in handling Lex to 2 GROUP 3 placements. A little yellow amongst the red and white he has already won!

I had been in Ottawa visiting Grant for a few days. Marilyn Torrance took the time to drive me to the shows in Petawawa and to tour the Armed Forces Base. We also took the time to drive to ,and lunch in ,a quaint settlement called Wilno- Canada`s first Polish settlement. What a beautiful area of hills and lakes. I was happy to see Alan Torrance as he joined us for lunch in Wilno. MMMMMmmmmm perogies , meat cabbage rolls and cooked red cabbage..just like my Mom used to make! What a terrific visit I had with everyone. I have a return trip to Ottawa in June for Grant`s GRADUATION.
