After months of preparation, the MCA shows and the 18th National BFCC Specialty had finally arrived.
Wednesday, August 10th, 2011 was a flurry of activity. Marilyn Torrance , handler Chrystal Murray , Jr. handler Nigel Philips and our Bichon Frise "Lex" Am/Can. CH. Luvit's A Rolex Yacht-Master At Dalnavert flew in from Ottawa and London,ON respectively. Meanwhile, good friend , Linda Ross flew in from Florida. Jill Sanfilippo drove in from Wisconsin and was staying with Carla and Wayne Morrow. Jill co-owns "Gracie" with Bernice & Brian and Linda Ross. Everyone met at our house for supper. Linda and Marilyn had spoken on the phone and facebook ,but this would be the first time they would actually meet. It would be our first time meeting Chrystal. Chrystal had been entrusted with Lex's care and handling on the campaign trail this year- 2011. This partnership has been very successful ,as Lex is currently #1 Bichon Frise in Canada. Lex is now owned by Bernice and Brian Lucas, Linda Ross and Marilyn Torrance. We were all looking forward to an exciting weekend.
