The big day had arrived for all of us. Hours of planning and preparation for the BFCC Specialty committee would be based on the day's success.

A Bichon Beach Party and that it was! Our wooden placement dogs were all decked out with their colourful bandannas on their beach towels. The trophy table looked exquisite with the many Bichon beach themed awards, all hand made Terri Mclain. Each exhibitor also received a beach towel. The catalogue ,prepared and printed by Marilyn Torrance with the help of Wayne Morrow, sported our logo " Sirius Lee Handsome" named by club member Jill Sanfilippo and drawn by Sandy Orford. With its professional look, it provided us with lovely displayed ads and Specialty information. Sweepstakes were judged by Club member Sandy Greenway.Her Best in Sweeps selection was 12 - 18 month male puppy CHENOA ALLURE IMAN UP owned by Katherine Dillon and Best of Opposite in Sweeps was 6 - 9 month female MIABELLA HEAD OVER HEELS owned by Sheryl Kapella. Our Specialty judge was Mrs. Jacqueline L.Stacy from North Carolina. She awarded Best of Breed to Open Male BELLE CREEK'S FLIGHT TO DEJA VU owned by L.Letsche / L. Carlton / F.Matlock. Our TONY...AM/CAN CH. LUVIT'S A ROLEX DAYTONA AT DALNAVERT was presented with the AWARD OF MERIT out of the selection of specials and winners dogs competing. Dalnavert Kennels was very well represented by Junior Puppy "Taz" , Veteran "Jet" and Specials "Lex" , "Gracie" , "Hugs" and "DeeDee".

All of our dogs were expertly handled by Sandy Orford and her daughter's Beth and Courtney, our daughter Carolyne and Chrystal Murray

"Lex" would take Best of Breed in the All Breed Show under his expert handler and friend Chrystal Murray.
