February is skating competiton month along with a Judges Seminar. Carolyne has now changed her status from coaching to judging. She is qualified to judge up to the Juvenile level and is currently working on her Pre-Novice/Novice level. Manitoba has a shortage of quality judges. I know that although she is an outstanding coach, she will be a great asset to the Manitoba's judges and we are fortunate to have her.
Brehdyn is growing. He turned 3 years on February 28th. He had a fun birthday party at our house.
January started off with a trip to Florida to visit friend and mentor Linda Ross ,husband Pat , Mom Lois and sister Donna.
Our female "DeeDee" Can. CH. Luvit's Dalnavert Double Destiny made the trip with me. She's come a long way from being "suspended from a clothes line !" She will spend the next few months with Linda and Rick Day out at the US shows working on her American championship.
January was a busy one back home. Lots of Regional figure skating competitions to judge and marking at school as this was mid year assessment month !
2011 SEASON’S GREETINGS TO ALL OF OUR CANINE FRIENDS!
We would like to thank everyone for their support throughout the year. 2011 has been a very rewarding year in the show ring! The Dalnavert-Luvit connection has proven itself to be very successful. We have just achieved our 7th American champion and our 8th Canadian champion. We topped the year off with a Best In Show , # 1 Bichon Frise in Canada and an Award of Merit. This has all been accomplished in the past 5 years!

WE would like to thank judge Mr. Stefan Sinko for awarding a Group 2 to AM & BIS CAN CH. LUVIT'S A ROLEX YACHT-MASTER AT DALNAVERT on November 27, 2011 at the Caledon Show and judge Mr.Thomas Alexander for awarding LEX a Group 2 on December 4, 2011 at the Brantford Show. LEX is currently #1 Bichon Frise in Canada , # 7 in Group Vl in Canada and 47th in Canada All Breed.
AM/BIS CAN.CH. LUVIT'S A ROLEX YACHT-MASTER AT DALNAVERT concluded his weekend with a Group 3rd under Mrs. Keke Kahn on Saturday along with his Group 3rd in the Show of Shows , and a Group 3 under Dr. Francisco Chapa on Sunday, Nov. 20th, 2011. Thanks to Chrystal and Nigel for doing an outstanding job in handling Lex.
AM/BIS CAN Ch. Luvit's A Rolex Yacht-Master at Dalnavert, "Lex," took part in the Show of Shows this past weekend at the Ottawa Kennel Club. The Show of Shows is only open to Best in Show winners from the past year and Lex's Best in Show win in Winnipeg in August gave him his qualification. Lex placed third in the Show of Shows Group 6 ring defeating multiple Best in Show winners.

GRACIE completed her American championship this weekend in Huntsville, Alabama with 4 - 3 point majors.

November 4th,2011 "Lissa" won her second 3 pt. major with W/OS under judge Charles Olvis.
