Spent a "girls weekend" with Marilyn Torrance and Carolyne at the Residence Inn . Lex spent the time with us at the hotel. A little RnR for him away from the show ring.Carolyne did a great job handling him to Best of Breed at the Booster under Finnish judge Mr. Skalin. The show attracted many people , keeping the the BFCC booth busy answering questions about the Bichon Frise.

February is skating competiton month along with a Judges Seminar. Carolyne has now changed her status from coaching to judging. She is qualified to judge up to the Juvenile level and is currently working on her Pre-Novice/Novice level. Manitoba has a shortage of quality judges. I know that although she is an outstanding coach, she will be a great asset to the Manitoba's judges and we are fortunate to have her.
Brehdyn is growing. He turned 3 years on February 28th. He had a fun birthday party at our house.
January started off with a trip to Florida to visit friend and mentor Linda Ross ,husband Pat , Mom Lois and sister Donna.
Our female "DeeDee" Can. CH. Luvit's Dalnavert Double Destiny made the trip with me. She's come a long way from being "suspended from a clothes line !" She will spend the next few months with Linda and Rick Day out at the US shows working on her American championship.
January was a busy one back home. Lots of Regional figure skating competitions to judge and marking at school as this was mid year assessment month !
