THE "ROLEX FAMILY" ARE NOW A CHIC 5 !

Both Luvit and Dalnavert kennels are proud to announce that 3 of the "Rolex" litter have now become a CHIC 5. If you go on to the OFA site you an view the clearances they have in Hips/Elbows/Legge-calve-Perthes/Patellas and eyes. They have also had their DNA registered. Eyes and Patellas must meet clearances every year. We are so very proud of this breeding. Lissa "Celissima", Lex " Yacht-Master and Tony "Daytona" are out of our AM/CAN CH. Capichon Dalnavert Luvit Laine and AM/UK CH. Manoir's Shot In The Dark.

All 3 will soon have off spring representing them in the ring in 2013!

"LEX" BECOMES DOUBLE GRAND CHAMPION !

On November 1st,2012 became a Canadian Grand Champion. Lex had already qualified with his Best in Show and the required points,now his passing of the CGN test would "seal the deal". A big thank you goes out to co-owner Marilyn Torrance who worked with Lex in preparing him for the test!

He is now known as : AM GR.CH/ BIS CAN GR.CH.LUVIT'S A ROLEX YACHT-MASTER AT DALNAVERT

" THE EYES ARE THE WINDOWS TO THE SOUL"......

DALNAVERT'S THE INSPECTOR GENERAL fondly known as "Mati or Matisse" passed away on August 6th, 2012 at the age of 17 years!. Mati was born on July 26th, 1995. Mati's "forever owner" was Susan Bracken. Susan writes: " He was a dear, sweet, gentle boy with a beautiful face and deep expressive eyes. He will be dearly missed."

This photo of Mati, taken just before he passed away, portrays those eyes that all of have seen in our own Bichons. They are the eyes of "little people in fur coats" ! Rest in Peace Mati....Rainbow bridge has many friends to play with.

BROOKE'S BABY SHOWER............

The weather was summer with 29 degrees for the day. Monique Gauthier and Carla Morrow were the hostesses decorating Monique's Condo with all those cute "pink" decorations. The food was delicious and the guest of honour "Brooke" provided an afternoon of entertainment! Thank you to all who attended for your most generous gifts!

Balgonie, SK PCA Dog Show Sept. 14 - 16th , 2012

Initially groomed by Sandy Orford, maintained and handled by our daughter Carolyne Cybulsky ,"Tony" had a very successful weekend!

Sept. 14th/12 GRP. 4TH and a GRP.2ND, Sept. 15th GRP. 4TH and a GRP.4TH in the second show and Sept.16th GRP.2ND.!

Both Brian and Carolyne had fun camping. Julia Dickenson "Balladair Kennels" invited them for dinner on Saturday...Fun was had by all! Thanks Julia for being such a gracious host.

End of the month saw Brian leave for Montreal in order to visit Grant for two weeks.

Long overdue updates....................

Life has been busy here at the kennel since the August dog show. All of the puppies left for their "forever homes". New owners were excited to take in their "little kids in fur coats". We have had some of them come in for grooming and boarding. It shows that owners have put a lot of effort into good house training habits and some have already started puppy classes.Our puppies reside all over Canada. This litter saw 2 off to Regina !

The German Shepherd conformation ring takes a great deal of strength , stamina and expertise to show this breed to its best potential. Pictured is Carolyne in the GSDC of MB Specialty ring under judge Jack Kilgour presenting "Dutch Hill's Roulette".
Roulette is owned by Mr. Han van den Heuvel " Dutch Hill " kennel. Han has been breeding quality Shepherds under this prefix for more than 40 years.
