Dalnavert Kennels was busy this weekend at both ends of the country! At the Northwinds Shows in Winnipeg our two new girls, “Gracie”, Luvit’s Dalnavert Olympic Omegamania, and “DeeDee”, Luvit Dalnavert Double Destiny, each won 2 points toward their Canadian championship and placed Reserve on the alternate days. Gracie is co-owned with Jill Sanfilippo in Wisconsin and Linda Ross in Florida, while DeeDee is co-owned with Linda Ross.We would like to recognize and thank Sandy Orford for her expertise in grooming and handling, and her daughter Beth for her handling perfection.

Today was another successfull day for Lex and Chrystal. He won a Group 2nd under Melvin Beech and a Group 2nd under Ted Fahlgren. Lex has 6 Group 2nds and 4 Group 4th up to date!

Our boy AM/CAN CH. Luvit’s A Rolex Yacht-Master At Dalnavert ...“LEX” is maintaining his success by winning a group 2nd and a group 4th at the Sudbury show yesterday , and a group 4th today. Thanks to judges Thomas Touzel ,Kristen Francis and Mary White. We are very proud of Lex and handler Chrystal Murray for their continuous wins ! Lex is #1 Bichon Frise nationally , #10 in the group nationally and #89 in in the country at this time.

There were 2 males and 1 female born to CH. Dalnavert’s RR Silver Spirit “Athena”, sired by AM/CAN. CH. Luvit’s A Rolex Daytona at Dalnavert on February 3rd, 2011.
We would like to thank Julia Dickinson of “Balladair Kennels” (Regina,SK) for considering “Tony” in her breeding program. Tony was bred to “DeeDee” . Puppies are due in mid January.

Hugs finished off the year as #2 Bichon frise in Canada. He is certified OFA good hips and elbows , Patellas are certified and Eyes are cerfed clear.Thanks to Sandy Orford, Wayne and Carla Morrow and the rest of the Classy Clips team for making it possible for HUGS to present his outstanding qualities. Hugs has a clean face with dark rich pigment and a white rich dense coat . He moves clean and true front and rear , with an extended reach due to an excellent shoulder lay back complimented by an outgoing personality. His 2010 show record speaks for itself!

Tony and Lex’s profiles along with their pedigrees are now posted under “show Dogs”.
Belle has received her CHIC number. She has been OFA certified for clear Hips/Elbows/Leg-calve Perthes,Patellas and her eyes have been certified clear.
Belle was bred to Tony. They are expecting their litter around the middle of January. She looks quite “round”.
